How do I know if my floors are VCT?
Vinyl composition tile usually comes in 12-inch squares, often in a speckled or checkered pattern, and it is common in corridors, break rooms, classrooms, and retail aisles. Luxury vinyl plank and sheet vinyl look similar but should not be stripped the same way. Send a photo through our contact page and we will help confirm before anything is quoted.
What does strip and wax involve?
First we move what can be moved, protect baseboards and nearby carpet, and put out wet-floor signage. Then we apply stripper, machine-scrub the old finish off, and pick up the slurry so no residue is left behind. After a thorough neutral rinse, the floor dries and we lay down several thin, even coats of fresh finish, letting each coat dry before the next. Can you strip and wax after hours so we stay open?
