A strip and wax is not one quick pass. The old finish comes off, the floor is rinsed and dried, and then new finish goes down in several thin coats, each one drying before the next. Every step needs the floor empty. That is hard to get on a Tuesday at 10 AM and easy to get after the last employee leaves.
